Play some baseball on a minor league field!!
All those players who filled out Player interest forms for the Kane County game. You are in. Your Kane Councy Managers will be picking teams the next couple of days and I will be emailing you all with more information and asking for your jersey number for the announcer.

Fees & Payment: There is a $25 fee charged to each player playing in the Kane County Games. Payment, (checks made payable to NIMSBL) must be made in one of three ways:
- Players must give their team managers payment at this weekend's (8/16-8/17) game.
- Mail your check to John Zaccagnini (ask your manager for his address)
- Bring your check to the game and give it to John Zaccagnini.
No payment, no play, no exceptions. If payment is not received... the player will not be allowed to play; be on the field, or in the dugout (however the player can watch from the stands...for free).
Schedule. Gates open at 10 am. 50's game starts at 11 am. After the 50's game there will be team pictures for all teams in centerfield, as well as, several presentations, including the league's first player to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. 40's game starts at 2:30 pm.
Stadium Website: Kane County Stadium.
Kane County Players: There is no use of locker rooms and no infield warm-ups. We will be playing a 40+ and a 50+ game; 9-inning game, 3-hour time limit. There will be a 20-man roster limit and pitchers are allowed to pitch 3 innings max.
Players and Fans: There will be raffle ticket(s) with winners winning gift cards to various places; grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Fans can bring food and drink to enjoy during the games. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Player Requirements - Kane County Player Form
If you want to play in any of these games you must meet the following requirements in order to be considered eligible for play in these promotional games.
- You must be an active NI-MBL Player.
- To play in the 40's game you must be at least 40 and to play in the 50's game you must be at least 50.
- $25 per player (to guarantee your attendance and is non-refundable).
- Bring family & anyone who would be interested in joining our league
- A full-uniform. Clean as possible to represent yourself and the league
- Have fun, play hard, represent the league with a great show of sportsmanship
This is to promote the league and inspire more people to join in on our yearly summer fun. Players who have played at Kane County before say the experience is awesome.

- All 30's play-off rounds are best 2 of 3
- 42's and 50's play-off rounds are single elimination until the finals. The championship finals will then be a best 2 of 3.

Fall Ball
The league now has forms on the website to guage the interest of playing some fall ball in October. The league is working on field acquisition and playing format. Umpires have already been notified of this possibility. We will keep you abreast of happenings in this area. If you are interested in playing some fall ball please click here.
