Day at the Park UPDATED
Saturday Aug. 30th the NIMBL will be playing 3 games at the 2013 Frontier League Schaumburg Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg. The 50 & over playing at 10am, 42 & over playing at 130pm and the 30 & over playing at 5pm. Fans, family and friends are welcome to watch the games. Open to public.
Enter at the First Base gate. Admission is free. Food and drink is OK but no alcohol can be taken into the park.
Players must sign up in order to play. The managers for each team will draft (fantasy style) players Tues, Aug 26th to even out teams and so that teams are equal. A $25 commitment fee is required of each player to play on a professional field. Last season the 42s and 50s divisions played at Kane County Stadium in Geneva and had a great time. This year we look to bring in the 30 & over division into the event and play all day. Bring out your friends and family. Take pictures as this event will be a day to remember.
