It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell and parting to former player Tonie Barth. Barth played for the 25s Del Toro's from 2013-2019 and 40s Flyers 2017-2019.
Tonie made the world a brighter place, and we are all better for knowing him. He always led with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. He was able to always see the good in people. He put others before himself making sure that everyone around him was happy. Tonie had a natural gift for baseball and loved to play. Tonie was once asked what position he played in baseball and his response was “Whatever position is needed. I love to contribute and make a difference.” This is a classic example of what a wonderful person he was. He also had a natural talent for bowling, contributing to wins of multiple championships.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 10AM - 11:30AM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln Ave., Lombard.
