Del Toro became an expansion team in NIMABL 2008. The first year in NIMABL, Del Toro went 2-12 during a building season. The second year, Del Toro was able to make it to their first playoff game which was al oss in the first round to the Snappers. In 2010, Del Toro was able to climb to the third seed in the American Division. After ending the 2010 season in the Semi-finals, Del Toro plans to go one more step and make it to the NIMABL Championship this summer. 

Del Toro Won the 18+ Wood bat Championship in 2012 with a victory over the 7 time defending champs, the Huntley Diamond Jaxx. Del Toro swept the two game series to win their first championship. 

In 2013 Del Toro moved up the the 30+ division. They finished the 2013 season with a loss to the Pirates in the second round of the playoffs.

In 2014 Del Toro finsihed the regular season in second place with a 10-5 record and moved on to the post season. the Cubs came in and gave DelToro all they could handle in The first round with DelToro sneaking away with a 2-1 win. Next up was the A's for a round two battle. Del Toro took care of business and swept the 2 game series and moved on to the NIMBL Championship vs the regular season First place Pistols. Del Toro once again swept the post season series 2-0 capped off with a 17-7 victory in the championship game. Del Toro won it's second championship in 3 years and it's first in the 30+ League.
